best places to live in MD

I've been living in Annapolis...but i'm looking for other places to settle down..any suggestions? i hear ellicott city is a nice up and coming area.

I lived in "Annapolis" (Downtown, Eastport, Cape St. Claire and Severna Park) for 33 years, then moved to the Eastern Shore. Best thing I've ever done moving over here.

Baltimore is great, but the city taxes are high. You might want to consider Baltimore County; great schools, low crime...

Depends on what you are lookin for. Eastern shore is great but wouldnt go as far as Ocean City, to crowded. Frederick and surrounding areas north are nice if you like the woods but not to far from everything. Good Luck!

Another Annapolitan...but I don't plan on leaving. Just bought a house here so I think I will stay a while!

Most likely not what you're looking for, but I love Garrett county. But I don't live up there.
