Fort Carroll

Fort Carroll is an abandon military garrison located on an island in the middle of Patapsco River. You can see it from Fort Armistead Park, and also when you cross the Francis Scott Key Bridge. But it is very difficult to get a view of the interior, even from a boat. So last month I took my flying camera over the fort and got some good shots. I will attach one.

I had wanted to go inside the fort but was a little concerned about the Guard Dog sign. After flying over it I now doubt there are any dogs inside. There were not many birds either which seemed odd because I heard rumors that it was once a bird sanctuary. I tried to contact the property owner but was not successful finding contact information. If someone can provide this information please share it. According to an old newspaper article in the Baltimore Sun the owner used to be Alan G. Eisenberg.
