We were just talking about this over the weekend while visiting a fall festival in the mountains of Thurmont, Maryland. Maryland is a state that you can visit the mountains, the beach, two major cities (Washington and Baltimore), has all four seasons to enjoy and everything in between.

You need to go through it if you are driving to Virginia.

I love that you can be in the mountains and then four hours later you are sitting on the beach. Maryland is also rapidly becoming known for it's microbrews. Not a bad batch around here.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Fort McHenry unless I missed it.
