Where the heck can I go wheeling in maryland? Not looking for anything too extreme i'd be happy with a field or a woods trail! I'm originally from upstate NY where back roads and woods trials were everywhere.

When I lived in Maryland (Lexington Park and Columbia) we did a lot of power line trails and would also piss off the construction site contractors because we would do a little mudding at the site after a good rain. We got busted one day because my friend who modified a Dodge van into a four wheelling monster got stuck in about 4 feet of nice and thick mud and not that rocky kind but the really thin soft type. Took us 4 hours to get him out and the contractor was pretty pissed.
You can head west to Winchester, VA Area there are events held out there By BIG DOGS Off Road. Also that direction is the George Washington National Forest and there are fire roads etc there.
Not many public places, Green Ridge seems to be the only one thats well known, power line trail riding can get you in trouble with the police. My best advice is get to know ppl on JeepForum and NAXJA and they might invite you to those unknown spots.
