I grew up just outside of Memphis, in Germantown. I loved it there, and I LOVE Memphis. I live in Reno, NV now, but I still miss the south, even after having been gone for over 10 years.
Not Memphis, across the state line in Jonesboro. We do visit Memphis frequently, great food, great entertainment and of course, my wife likes the shopping.
Just got back from Memphis this last weekend. First time heading over that direction, but it seemed to be a great place.... although not as good as Nashville
I miss the good times I had growing up but now I am living in Atlanta and can only imagine living here or moving back to Chile. I go back a few times a year to see my parents. Trying to get them out. I had a great time growing up and great people there but a real crappy town overall. If it wasn't for FedEx nothing would be there. Was there from age 4 - 24... So I don't feel bad saying what I feel about the town. Go Tigers!
I live in Eads too and prefer to stay out in Fayette county mostly. Memphis is a good place to visit an OK place to live near and horrible place to live in haha
