McLain State Park near Hancock MI (Keeweenaw area UP)is outstanding

Fort Wilkins in Copper Harbor on Lake Fanny Hooe is probably my favorite.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park - Rivermouth Campground is my second favorite.

Personally I like Albert E. Sleeper in da Thumb (between Caseville and Port Austin)

Sleeper was great when the kids were little as it stayed shallow a looooong way out.
