Brewery Tour
Hey guys, has anyone ever been on the floating brewery?

Mondo Brothers - Riverwalk Boat Tours and Rentals - Tours

Did this a few years ago and it was a blast.

That does sound like fun. I went to a couple breweries in Milwaukee last weekend, but didn't know about the tours. Thanks for the link!

Lakefront is the only one I really care for but it still looks pretty cool.

I've never done it but I have toured some breweries and know of a few people who have done the boat tour. Of the three on the tour, really Lakefront is the only worthwhile one. Lakefront and Sprecher are by far the two best breweries in the Milwaukee area. Both are pretty good tours, at Lakefront they really don't skimp on the samples. You can get a pretty good buzz from all of the samples at that one.

We've been "planning" to do that for a couple of years now... hopefully this year may be different.

I went to a wedding where the reception was at Lakefront Brewery.... simply AWESOME!!! I don't remember exactly how many (as this was 3+ years ago) but at least 8 LFB beers on tap. Didn't get any kind of tour - but was still a sweet deal!

Sprecher is not bad.....if you have time the Tyranena in Lake Mills is a good time

I haven't been on that one yet. We don't have a floating brewery in Madison but we do have the Betty Lou cruises on lakes Mendota and Monona. Several are beer tasting cruises featuring beer from Capitol Brewery. yum!

I have done work at Miller and have seen the dark side of the place
the tour only shows you what they want you to see
