Went once: found the crowd to be old, fat, cranky, unhealthy, and desperate. It's an interesting place to people watch if you have a sadistic streak and enjoy human suffering. Nothing like seeing a 400 pound woman in a wheelchair turn off her O2 for a minute to smoke a delicious Marlboro Light. They have no-smoking areas, but when we went, the smoke was everywhere - no matter where you sat, there was a blanket of it in the air.

I don't care for it, but take it with a grain of salt - I'm not a huge Casino person.

Potawatomi is much better since they finished the renovations. It's about two times the size and has more of a Vegas feel to it. No longer have to wait in a three-deep line to sit at a $5 blackjack table. I always thought it was funny to see people lining up like pigs at the trough waiting to give their money away. Haha...it's fun anyway!

i go to Potowatomi here and there. It is much nicer since the renovations done. but as far as the quality of the people that go there... well, you do have to remember its a casino in the midwest and not a casino in Vegas, no matter what it looks like aesthetically. i've been to most of the casinos in Wi as well as the ones on the east side of minnesota, the crowd is all the same, old people on their casino tours and local deadbeats tryin to double a paycheck.

the bingo hall isnt as smokey as it previously was now that they have a glass wall separating it from the other side, but its not 100% by any means, but i dont leave reaking of smoke. (im a non smoker)

And, of course, the later at night you go, the ratio turns to more derelicts and less old people.

Their slot machines are way to tight. But the bingo there is a blast!
