Minnesota Wild

Shut out the Sharks last night, thanks to Brunette, boring game until the bottom of the 2nd period.

Is this a playoff team or is it just a fluke that they are playing rather well right now. I haven't seen a game yet this year. The roster kind of speaks of a lack of depth on defense.

Five one loss last night. Don't know if this team is going to make the playoffs. Either they can stop the other team from scoring or they can't stop the flood when it starts.

Lots still needs to change to get this team into good playoff contention. They still lack a few key players that would help cement the team together.

At least they have good goalies to help out and their power play. 5 on 5 play still lacks.

There is a lot of talk that the good goalie thing for the Wild is a mirage. Well maybe they are good they just aren't great. When you start talking about goalies in the NHL you have to go along way before you get to Backstrom and Theodore.

If you're looking for a good deal on tickets, sign up for Groupon.com. Every few weeks it seems like they have a 70% off deal for a Wild game.

They always have tickets for sale outside the arena. Best deals are after the game starts. Not a bad way to avoid crazy traffic and get a game in for cheap.
