Any KC area wheelin?

Looking for any good off road areas close to the KC area...say within 45 minutes to an hour!

There is an ORV park in St. Joe, which is about 50 minutes north.

They have about 800 acres of sand flats for Jeeps, 1200 acres of wooded trails for ATVs. They have rules that require helmets if using a soft top or no top, and a trail flag which they have available for purchase for 3$

Also, there is KS Rocks with is about 1 hr away (or so)

I looked up the ST. Joe park, that is in Farmington which is south of St. Louis. Maybe that is the park you were referring to but that is across the state from Kansas City.

Tuttle Creek, though its a little drive, in Manhatten Ks.... theres also Ks. Rocks Park.

As for wheeling, it SUX anywhere in the KC area, thats why I moved to Denver, or one of the reasons, lol
we have sooooo many trails, all within 2 hours or less, anything from mild/senic to extream, been out here for about 6 years, and still havent even come close to hitting all the trails..

Best bet is to start hitting the bike shops, see if they know of anyone with some private land

Wa****a off road park is amazing. It's huge! (not that close to KC though. I hear there is one in Fulton, Mo. that is cool.

About only wheelin most people do around KC is mudding. Theres a few trails also but there on privite property. But im sure theres others. I just havent found any good ones yet
