I quit eating at subway because of the size of their rolls.
IF I'm desperate and have enough change for a subway and also falling down from lack of nutrition, I might stumble into a subway, micky dogs or such.

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for I Scream....

I will ONLY buy I Scream on the 2 for 1, half off, etc., deal.
NO CHANCE I'll ever buy a single container at $6.00+!!
It's cheaper to go to the local INDEPENDENT* Burger joint and get a Shake or Malt.

*NOT the chain traps.

Did Fred Meyers make it to up your way? Beginning a few months back they added an inexpensive addition to their ice cream aisle.

It's made by Kroger and called Frozen Dairy Desert huh???

Underneath that in English is; Postre Lacteo Congelado.

Among the ingredients are Milk, Soy Soy ice cream? Perhaps but it's darn good and when first introduced a 1.75 quart container sold for $1.19. It's up to $1.59 but usually sells for 2 for $3.
I think it's better than most ice creams and if it's not Ben & Jerrys at least it's not that fattening either. I couldn't make ice cream this cheap.

Freddies is a ways away. Be all melted before I got it home. Sounds awesome though!

Do you folks have Schwann's food delivery service in your parts of the country? On a whim last week, I purchased their lemon yogurt with chunks of lemon crisp cookie in it. Boy, was that great stuff! A little pricy, but well worth the cost!

Well when you do know you'll be near (I call them "Freds") take a cooler. If you go ahead with the ice cream maker try making chocolate/chile ice cream.

Fred Meyers, Bi-Mart and Roths are purely NW stores I believe. They're odd enough it required months for me to figure out what they had worth purchasing there. The Safeway is more like what I was used to but too high priced locally. I get prescriptions and little else there. I pretty much gave up on Alburtsons and see few advantages there at all. Roths has good help, good uniforms, a few high quality but expensive brands and very little business. I'm surprised they even exist.
The nice part is that Keizer is laid out like a 3 mile long strip mall so all the stores are nearby.

Just wondering if all Subways had cut the size or if it was just here in Podunkville?

They had too many complaints and went back to the original size.
