I think the few people over in the Fallon, Carter, Powder River Counties might compete for the "corner of nowhere section of the state". And there are 6 counties larger than any in Montana, just in Idaho and Wyoming. Beaverhead is the largest in Montana though.
I'm from Montana. Born and raised in Helena. College in Missoula. And now live in Bozeman. I'm actually, a 6th generation Montanan. My family settled in the Helena area a long, long time ago.
Not from Montana, but I do have relatives in Anaconda that I visit every once in a while. I love the mountainous area and how little development there is out there.
Montana native, Way up on the highline....Opheim. The town is even smaller then when I lived there...I love getting back there. You cant get that kind of hospitality anyplace else. You got to love driving down the road and the guy you pass going the opposite direction actually waves to you.
