When I see a thread like this I always feel obligated to plug an old classmate. Steve was well liked way before he became famous.
T.K. Enterprises is another classmate who is dong well. Terry is Toby Kieth's manager. I wish I could find the HE Haw episode that Terry and Steve did together.
^^^ Thanks to my mom, I've been listening to Steve my whole life and still counting! My most favorite song from him is "Life's Highway".

P.S. Steve couldn't have been more of a gentlemen when I was blessed to meet him on June 12, 2000.
That just sounds so weird....I don't idolize anyone. Respect sure but blessed...I don't get that. I ant busting on you for it don't get me wrong...I just don't see it that way. I thought Steve was going to be an art teacher until he met Dottie West. Him and his buddy at the time were always drawing those cartoon cars. He is a good artist.
^^^ Why not feel blessed when getting to meet anyone that you love in one way or another?

P.S. What you say about his art ability doesn't surprise me. Included in the liner notes of his Christmas album is a water color painting that Steve did himself and to me, he did a wonderful job on it!
