My biggest question would be - what is done with the bull after he is killed? Do they just toss him in a mass bull grave? Or is he turned into food (i.e. recycled) I can agree that its some level of cruel if the animal dies a slow and painful torturous death. But if he makes his way to the dinner table then there is some purpose fulfilled. No?

Here's an answer you may consider.........
In bullfighting, what happens to the bull after it is killed?
After the poor defenseless bull is brutally slaughtered, what happens to it?
Is it eaten?
Is it cremated?
Or what else?
Sources would help, if possible.

Before the bullfight, the bull is reared especially for it's day in the ring. It lives a pampered life of sheer luxury. Because of that, the meat of the bull is the finest money can buy. After the bullfight the carcass is cut up. Some of the meat can be given to charity or it can be sold off. I is highly thought of.
Bullfighting though a Spanish tradition isn't participated in every province. The sport will eventually die out.

First, it isn't a "poor defenseless bull."
Second, cattle are slaughtered, anyway.
Third, it is usually butchered, and given to the poor to eat.
