Davis Kidd Closing its doors...

Just a head's up that Davis Kidd is closing it's doors after 30 years. Liquidation deals to be had by some, sadness to be had by all locals.

I saw this and I think it is a sad thing. This is a business that has been in the Green Hills area for years, but the economy has really hit that industry pretty hard.

That's really too bad. Will it continue to operate as a bookstore under new name/ownership or is it gone gone gone? I wonder what would replace that space in the mall. That's a tough industry to be in.

It's always sad to lose a local institution. This economy is draining the life out of a lot of us.

Sad indeeed. Many things are and will continie to change forever as a result of this economy and our government leadership, or lack therof.
