Yeah we don't have that here, I'm still broke.

Good for you guys though, the less the gmen are in my pocket the better I feel.

Well, we don't have it yet. I am hopeful! I would like the mentality to spread to the national level..

Beware, most "fair tax" schemes are all about taxing the average person MORE, not less, most ideas at the federal level would leave millionaires paying half the amount of taxes they would otherwise supposed to be paying and place significant extra burden on the average man (although even though most include a very small "rebate" to pretend to make up for that even though the taxes are still more).

Keep in mind the stated purpose of this bill is to INCREASE revenue, so that increased revenue has to come from somewhere and with primarily republican support I have serious doubts that the average working man isn't going to get the shaft here.

don't get me wrong, in abstract I like the idea, however most of these plans need to be adjusted severely to benefit the average man and not the millionaires for it to actually improve the economy.
