I have no idea if what Cain is being accused of happened, but I do wonder why all of a sudden 14 YEARS after the alleged incident took place these women are now coming forward with their allegations. why wait that long? what is the motive to go public now? I know if I was harassed in some manor I would not wait 14 years, I would get it out immediately.
Boortz is now saying that Sharon Bialek was fired from the NRA after alleging sexual harassment against her supervisor. A coworker stated that she was difficult to work with, etc.

Someone asked Bialek if she had reported Cain to the NRA. She said no since they were no longer her employers.
Asked by O?Reilly Monday night what had most surprised him about the 2012 campaign, Cain answered: ?Media scrutiny over insignificant stuff.?
Quote:
A Thompson/Reuters online poll taken over the weekend indicated some erosion in Cain's favorability rating among Republican voters, dropping from 66 percent a week ago to 9 percent.
In a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press from Nov. 3 to Nov. 6, 39 percent of respondents who had heard of the sexual harassment allegations against Cain believe they are true, and 25 percent believe the the claims are false. But, among GOP women familiar with the claims 46 percent believe they are false, compared to 24 percent who believe they are true. However, this poll was conducted prior to Bialek's statement on Monday.
Those polls may be more of a sign that Cain's political career reached its peak last week, and is now heading for a crash, unless he can convince voters that his accusers are making false claims in order to derail his candidacy.
Quote:
Still, Cain backers remained solidly behind the former pizza company executive. They pointed to the presence of Gloria Allred ? a high-profile attorney with Democratic ties ? alongside Bialek at a news conference on Monday in New York as proof that the latest claim was a partisan smear.
"The fact that she's involved removes all credibility," Georgia Christian Coalition president Jerry Luquire said. "If he says he didn't do anything than I believe him."
Bialek is the fourth woman to say that Cain engaged in inappropriate behavior during his time at the helm of the restaurant group.
At least two women who worked there at the time filed sexual harassment complaints.
A third woman told The Associated Press last week that she considered filing a workplace complaint against Cain over what she deemed sexually suggestive remarks and gestures that included a private invitation to his corporate apartment. And a former pollster for the restaurant association has said he witnessed yet another episode involving a different woman.

Rachel Maddow: The ?Herman Cain Art Project? Is So Good, Howard Stern?s ?Jealous?
Quote:
On her program last Friday, Rachel Maddow announced she thinks she has finally figured out this whole ?Herman Cain? thing: it?s a performance art project. The bizarre events of today, hosted by Gloria Allred at the Friar?s Club and hijacked by the Howard Stern show, naturally, seemed to fit the theory, though not, Maddow explained today, in that Cain was behind the entire thing, but in that the art project was working so well, that Howard Stern was getting jealous.

Principled Versus Winning
As a libertarian, there are a certain set of principles that I have that were I to compromise them I could not honestly call myself a libertarian. As many of my friends know, they are free to call me out anytime I take a position that is in conflict

As a libertarian, there are a certain set of principles that I have that were I to compromise them I could not honestly call myself a libertarian. As many of my friends know, they are free to call me out anytime I take a position that is in conflict with those principles.
Ronald Reagan, whom I consider to be the greatest President in my lifetime, had principles. I did not agree with his principles each and every time. But, I knew enough about the man, to know what his choices would be on most every issue he would face. That is what you call a principled man.
Today, we have candidate after candidate, vying for our votes. The problem is that most of these candidates are without principled beliefs. So every time they are presented with an issue or a crisis, we must all sit and wait to hear what their decision will be on these issues.
This is NOT leadership. And this is why the Republican Party continues on the road of failure.
Doofus says what?
Syndicated radio host Neil Boortz has been catching flak from families affected by the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks after he declared on a television interview that ?Barack Obama is a bigger disaster to this country than 9/11.? Charita Goshay: Here
Boortz got special mention in "Charita Goshay: Here?s more stuff we just can?t make up".
Man bites dog. Burglars call cops.
In Delphi, Calif., a 54-year-old man is facing child pornography charges after a pair of burglars stole what they thought were blank audio CDs from his home. After viewing the shocking material, the thieves tipped off police.
A doggone shame
An 18-year-old Minnesota woman is facing burglary charges after police say she repeatedly broke into her neighbor?s home through a doggie door. The suspect, who was recorded on a surveillance camera, told police she needed money to pay her debts and feed her pornography addiction.
Beard bandits
Last week, police arrested members of an Amish sect in Bergholz on charges of kidnapping and assaulting other Amish by forcibly cutting off men?s beards and women?s hair. According to investigators, the action was taken as a form of ?punishment? over spiritual issues.
The alleged ringleaders? The Mullet family.
You?re in the wrong business.
According to a survey conducted by eFinancialCareers.com, 62 percent of Wall Streeters are expecting bonuses equal to or greater than last year?s bonus. The average Wall Street bonus is about $128,000 ... give or take a holiday ham.
Imitation is the sincerest form of insanity.
So much for the recession. The black mock turtleneck shirt that the late Steve Jobs made part of his uniform has been flying off the shelves. The 100 percent cotton shirt, which costs $175, is made by the St. Croix Collection, a company based in Minneapolis. Jobs reportedly bought at least two dozen every year.
Speaking of fashion victims
A backpack designed by kid stars-turned-fashionistas Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen that retails for $39,000 is sold out. In case you were wondering.

Boortz broadcasts from WSB/Atlanta---Herman Cain was also employed there.
He is a Libertarian, fwiw. 'Fair Tax' advocate.
Boortz is probably in the 1%. Anyway I've listened to him for several decades. If I had to guess, I would guess that Atlanta agrees with his economic principles and POV. As good as it gets here.
Something seemed 'off' with yesterday's allegations. Herman Cain is not much like Bill Clinton--I can tell that much.
Much more will be revealed, you can count on that.
Bielak's credibility is questionable, jmo. I cannot imagine the twists and turns of this plot. Fortunately, others will willingly share insights, I suppose.
--'Fast and Furious'--border operations--I would love to hear strategies for dealing with that
--Global issues--I want to know where candidates stand on this
Who knows what should be inferred from the comments made by the first accuser's former supervisor with INS. She found her to be above reproach and highly professional.
The first accuser referred to Cain as a monster when the former supervisor contacted her after the allegations were released to the public. There was no previous discussion/disparagement of Cain, her former employer.
??? Perhaps he created a 'hostile work environment'--it is beyond me to know.
Off the top of my head--it is conceivable that he didn't like any challenge to his authority. Who knows, who knows.
You can't hold a news conference and say--'I liked some people better than others.'
