If the government tried to take all the guns, it would be a bloodbath. Another civil war. Many police and military would refuse to follow the order to take guns from fellow Americans. Many people would fight to the death to keep their guns. I hope that no one is ever stupid enough to try it.

I own a few guns myself, and....I find it amusing that people get all up in a tizzy about their guns, like as if it were their penis. I'd be more concerned about clean drinking water and food. What with clean water supplies vanishing all over the world, GMO food and rising food prices, it IS a concern much larger than guns being taken away.

Go into a quick mart and look at the bottled water...... it's the most expensive liquid in the place including the gasoline outside!

And on the subject of the police.... Look at the numerous Human rights abuses all across the country. These guys would love to take away peoples guns, if only it could be African Americans!

Household Gun Ownership on Rise in U.S. Poll: Household Gun Ownership on Rise in U.S. The latest Economist/YouGov poll shows that 39 percent of American households own guns, which represents a five percent increase over the number of gun owning households in 2012.

There are estimates, however. According to the Geneva-based Small Arms Survey – the leading source of international public information about firearms – the U.S. has the best-armed civilian population in the world, with an estimated 270 million total guns.

According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which handles that registration, there were more than 3.1 million National Firearms Act-registered weapons in the U.S. as of March 2012. That includes more than 488,000 machine guns and more than 2 million “destructive devices” such as grenades, which are also classified under the law.

Typical response of the clueless. Guns save lives everyday....including yours. The fear someone might have a gun stops aggressive actions by the predator class hundreds of times a day.

If gun control worked New Jersey would be the safest place on the planet instead of Americas most dangerous place.

Gun control can never happen and does not work anyway. It is the people who need work. With the invention of 3D printers the concept of gun control is a joke.

I could make my own guns if I had too. Guns just sit there doing nothing until a person picks it up. We waste time not dealing with the real issues in this country all the time and it is people who think like you that cause it.
