Now, why does the south have a bad reputation when it comes to race relations?
I don't understand. If the south treats african americans so badly then why is the population so disproportionate?
Also, those pointing out the "bad reputation" usually are outside the south.
I guess it is easy to say if your population proportion is completely different.
Know what I mean?

They ARE slave states and always will be. The blacks have never left the plantations as it were.
