NATION'S GUN SHOW THIS WEEKEND! ;
July 27th, 28th & 29th
DULLES EXPO CENTER
CHANTILLY, VA
National Firearms Museum: From Outer Space
This weekend, the National Firearms Museum will be exhibiting some of the most imaginative firearms inspired by both science and science fiction. Plus, two of the most iconic movie props in film history; Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kinobi's light sabers!
This unique collection starts off with an unusual 1960's handgun that almost made it into space; the Gyrojet "rocket ball" is a gun that fires miniature projectiles driven by rocket engine technology. Plus, fans of the short-lived TV show "Firefly" and the accompanying movie "Serenity" won't want to miss seeing the pistol used by Captain Malcolm Reynolds - housed inside its futuristic bronze-colored exterior is a concealed five-shot Taurus revolver that was actually fired onscreen.
Please join us at the Nation's Gun Show in Chantilly, Virginia on July 27th, 28th and 29th. Come and see how space exploration and science fiction influenced these one-of-a-kind firearms!

Every year on this date we pause to honor our veterans — those men and women who carried our flag into unknown horrors, many never to return.
To every American veteran, the NRA Life of Duty team extends its sincere gratitude for your service.
We'd all do well to take a minute's pause to reflect on the blessings we enjoy because of a courageous few.
Two years ago today, we launched NRA Life of Duty to give voice to those who serve. We're tremendously proud of the work we've done since, honoring service and sacrifice in a way you just don't see anywhere else.
Please watch the preview of our newest Patriot Profile, sponsored by Smith & Wesson: the story of Tom and Scot Spooner, brothers, one who retired and another who served 17 years in the United States Army, serving in Special Forces and Special Operations capacities.
They are making the adjustment and transformation from military service to civilian life their "new normal." A soul-searching look into the heart of warriors and their reflections on the nation and the freedom they fought for, this documentary is a moving story of faith and courage that should be seen by every American citizen.
After you watch the video, please take some time to explore the brand-new NRA Life of Duty online network. You'll find many other moving pieces about our nation's heroes.
And if you are active-duty military, law enforcement or first responder personnel, sign up for a free NRA Life of Duty membership. It's just a small token of thanks from all of us at the National Rifle Association.
