No One Like's 4th Amendment Violated But We Have Too

Wow! I can't believe he said it.

Someone had a good point. Why would a terrorist go through the TSA when they could bomb a shopping mall and destroy consumerism in America instead.

I heard about this. Apparently the guy is facing an $11k find and possible jail time.

I find it kind of insane, because they state it's because of September 11th. The hijackers didn't even have bombs or guns if my memory serves me right. So why all these crazy, drastic measures?

It's called 'demoralizing'. There is a concerted effort by the ruling class in america to demoralize the masses. Dumb and suppressed masses do not fight back.

Sheeple fly, useless sheeple.

The DHS (and TSA in particular) doesn't exist to keep us safe. It exists to grow the federal government in size and scope.

Have you ever wondered why many government buildings have jersey walls or pylons around them to prevent a car bomb from getting lose, but our schools, malls, movie theaters, concert halls and stadiums are far more accessible? There are tons of soft targets that would spread terror in a heartbeat if they were struck. Use your imagination and think like a bad guy. The DHS/TSA don't do that, but someone should.

Are we arguing against having more bomb and weapon-preventing measured in airports?

I agree more should be done around shopping malls and things like that, but why cut down any increased security in airports?

The argument is it violates our Constitutional rights and is overkill.

So you guys think it's not worth it to give up some privacy to save lives?

What's going on has nothing to do with saving lives, nothing. But then, you don't understand the story of "The Tower of Babel".

Firstly, there's no need for personal attacks - this is your one and only warning.

Secondly, I grew up around the scriptures, so I am familiar with the tower of Babel.

I did read the link you gave me, along with a few of the articles on the page, if you don't mind. I just can't find how the tower of Babel relates to this particular situation.

Could you explain to me that?
