Obamacare is getting scarier as we find out what's in it, this according to the Drudge Report.

Obamacare Bill Has Funding Gap of 17 Trillion
Senate Republican staffers continue to look though the 2010 health care reform law to see what's in it, and their latest discovery is a massive $17 trillion funding gap.
The $17 trillion in extra promises was revealed by an analysis of the law's long-term requirements. The additional obligations, when combined with existing Medicare and Medicaid funding shortfalls, leave taxpayers on the hook for an extra $82 trillion in health care obligations over the next 75 years.
The federal government has an additional $17 trillion unfunded gap in other obligations, including Social Security, bringing the total shortfall to $99 trillion.
That shortfall is different from existing debt. The federal government already owes $15 trillion in debt, including $5 trillion in funds borrowed during Obama's term in office so far.
The extra $17 trillion gap was discovered by applying standard federal estimates and models to the law's spending obligations, Sessions said.
Despite Obama's weak threats, I think it'll be struck down. I listened to quite a bit of audio from the presentations. That's just my opinion, though - I don't think we'll get an answer until June at the earliest.

as republican I demand that I pay for all these leaches getting free healthcare!!!!! As a republican I am against everyone paying for their own healthcare needs!
- this is what people are honestly saying when you cut through the b.s.
what has the world come to?
Republicans are supporting free healthcare paid for by the few, the democrats are fighting to preserve a republican program that gets everyone to pay for their care while republicans call the most republican answer (pre-tea party) to the healthcare problem, socialism.
If bush had implemented this exactly as is we would see the republicans defending it...
Bush second term was not a Republican, why do you keep refering to him as such? And no it would still stink to high heaven if he tried this crap.
well we can keep going back, it has continually been a republican idea going back a good bit it has been preferred method to avoid socialistic healthcare alternatives.
And the funding gap exists, and the debt keeps increasing beyond any hope of repayment.

I suspect neither party plans to ever pay off the national debt but they can't openly admit it as confidence in the dollar would wane and inflation would be rampant. So those who meet in secret and pull the strings as puppeteer hold the destiny of the nation and the world economy.
The Obama campaign reminds us that he was raised by his grandparents and thus understands the importance of the entitlement and of fighting Medicare fraud - not just on a political level, but on a personal one too. Feds recovered just over $4 billion and that's nice but compared to the amount of fraud it's but 8%, and compared to the medicare budget it's but 0.8%. IOW good work but nothing to crow about.
It's the day before the general election and my ABC news outlet is finally reporting on the higher than stated estimates of Obamacare costs. Also, it is now claimed that even with the higher cost there will still be 30 million uninsured. Wasn't the original number only 33 million, and some said the true number only 17 million? Have we been Obamasnookered?
