Pentagon Considering Ban on Sharing One's Faith

I know it's against the law in muslim countries to share any faith other than islam, but in the US military? I picked this up from freerepublic.com:

The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis...”.

Seems that some Christian basher named Mikey Weinstein is the chosen poster boy for this one.
