I tend to agree with that. The pictures were merely to show that the whole "guilty by association" thing doesn't necessarily hold true.
As far as what you posted Ron Paul as saying, I don't have a problem with it.
Let me give you an example.... Just because I think gambling is stupid and bad for some people doesn't mean I want to take that right away. Just because I think tanning booths are cancer machines doesn't mean I want to take that right away. Just because I don't like to eat with cigarrete smoke in my face doesn't mean I want to take the right of a business owner to decide smoking vs. non.

To put it simply, I don't think he said/believes those things because he is"racist" or doesn't like particular folks, I just think that he is very anti-government intrusion, and over regulation. I tend to agree with him.

With the father I think that's a real possibility. My friends in Kentucky tell me the son has friends in low places. We'll just have to wait to see but even in these strange times neither Paul is a serious contender.

I'm all for ron paul, he splits the republican vote guarenteeing the democrats a win thanks to our hopelessly broken political system that can never allow any meaningful change

Sooooo, let's go back to the way things were in the 1940s before civil rights came into law? No thanks, I'll take government intervention and regulation everytime. Right is right.

I tend to regard libertarians as "pie in the sky" types. They paint a picture of a wonderful world but it's not the one I live in.

The government is trying to contain the lust to return to packaged useless mortgages or reinvent the idea with other instruments. They say as fast as they suggest remedies Wall Street is inventing new schemes.

I agree on removing from government all the silly "feel good" crap that exists but man better step up a lot before I could trust him without oversight.

Some folks just need to move to Europe.....

It is sort of like folks moving down south because of lower taxes and cost of living and then complaining because you can't catch a bus to ride all over the place and other things (duh).... (Oh, no offense to anyone from up north or transplants...)
