They want judges that strike the fear of god into people with lies and scare tactics and push a clearly religious agenda. We're already seeing even sensible repubs distancing themselves from the teaparty idiots.

Because I live each day to make this world a better place to live for all human beings. The US needs a great deal of improvement before it becomes as nice a place to live as Europe. We need to strengthen unions and help boost pay for minimum wage workers. Workers resistance! Break the chains of capitalism now!

I just want to a sk you something... If you raise the minimum wage to a so called " living wage" and tax those who make much more than that to level the playing field... How are you going to convince kids to not dro out of school? Do you think folks are going to want to go to medical school for 8 years (or however long it is) so than their pay can be taxed down to a level that they make close to what a trade school Ed could have paid? You start deincentivizing things and you are going to drag this country down... So for you then, I guess mission accomplished right?

Nooooo. I was talking about raising wages for people at the bottom. Doctors would continue making more than janitors, convenience store clerks walmart associates etc. At the other end of the spectrum, hospital executives would have their wages locked, and pricing for services would be locked too, unless there were a need to raise them incrementily, then they would need government oversight. PERFECT! Kids could make enough to actually afford to live...... Doctors would make enough to be interested in attracting students. The best of both worlds and everyones happy, except the republican CEOs who would be communist red with envy that people were getting a REAL living wage!!
