It is estimated that tariffs levied by Canada in response to our tariffs will cost Iowa farmers $624 million per year.

The largest nail maker in the US has laid off 60 due to the tariffs. The owner, a Trump supporter, says another 200 will be let go next month and the plant will be closed before Labor Day costing another 240 jobs unless tariffs are lifted. Then the only nails for sale in the US will be made In China.
