Also, check out "Homebrew Joe" - just Google Princeton Homebrew. He knows all the local groups and good hangouts, and will probably offer you a homebrew if you go visit him in West Trenton.[/QUOTE]

Also, ask to see the Solar Brewing rig

Hi, sorry I didnt' see your question before. I only started my hops in pots, once we were past frost I transplanted into the ground. They were about 6" - 12" at that time. They are still in the ground now, but I'll be moving in March so I'll be transplanting them again. Wish me luck!!

Also, I'm not a WHALES member but I've been to one or two of their meetings and they seem like real friendly people. I also like that there is some structure to their meetings.

Homebrewer here. I've always wondered how much interest there was. Not many people even see to know the hobby exists. But those who are into it are really into it.

Been brewing for a bit over a year now. I try to always use just grain but have to mix in some DME since only so much fits in my pot.

Santa brought me ingredients for a blueberry wheat and I?m going to retire the picnic tap and ordering the parts to put a tap in the beer fridge door that way I don?t have to waste the energy of opening the door all the time to get a beer

It's not a lot of work.
Some folks get deeply involved in the technical side, but you don't have to.
It can be as involved or not as you please.

For example I never use a hydrometer any more. Don't need it.
