Anyone familiar with the Long Valley Pub & Brewery?

It's in Western Morris County. It's created in a 200+ year old stone barn and has a great outside patio to boot. They generally have 6-7 fresh made beers on tap.

The key word here is fresh...a beer that's just hours old is incredible. They seldom have a batch older than a week or two. It's a pretty big place, prolly seats over 200 people.

I like Krogh's up in Sparta. Great beer, good food.

I live 15 minutes from the Long Valley Brew Pub. Their food and beer have gone downhill in the last few years. They changed owners a few times.

It started to go downhill once they pulled the hand-pump, citing issues with being able to keep the lines clean.

In my opinion, of course

I haven't been to Krogh's in a few years but they make some decent beer.

Was there last week. New management is now hitting it's stride. Not holding to the British Pub of old, but good stuff. Food got better and now the beer is excellent too. Might be that the brewer just had to get familiar with the equipment. The Black IPA was delicious.
