North Jersey should become a seperate state

Does anyone agree with me? The few times I went up to North Jersey I always felt disgusted in how dirty it was. South Jersey is, in my opinion, a great place to live because it isn't that congested and has great beauty to it.

These are a few photos I took last Sunday on our wheeling trip.

That's gorgeous! I've never been out to that part of Jersey unfortunately, but your pictures definitely make me want to come around next time I'm in that part of the country!

Nice pics.

Northern NJ has it's nice areas to be sure, Delaware Water Gap and Sussex County come to mind.

The Northeastern part of New Jersey has a concentration of Manufacturing and Industry, such as the I-80 Corridor and the NJ Turnpike that most people think is representative of all of New Jersey. " What's that smell...?"

I like that South Jersey seems to be a well-kept secret. Pristine beaches are the norm down this way. The Pinelands Preservation Area in Central/South Jersey covers some 1.5 million acres and is very popular as camping and wheeling destinations with white sugar sand, dense pine forests and crystal clear lakes and streams.

Hey, it's not Oregon with their old growth hardwood forests. All of NJ is basically a coastal flood plain anyway and the topography reflects that.

That being said, here's a few from my "neck of the woods".

Nice pics Feet. Jersey definitely has some nice beaches. When I went down to Florida and NC, it was nowhere near as nice(sand wise) than up here.

I don't think it should be a separate state, although it sure seems like it. There are some nice places like Ken Lockwood Gorge up there.

Kind words, Thank you Jake.

( ...and from a Mod, no less... )

Here's a few from Corson's Inlet State Park. I took these just today. Chasing striper up and down the beach makes for some serious fun and the Jeep loves doing what I built it for.

Cloudy day and rough surf at the point.

No crowds out here.

That's my buddy fighting with an eel.

Closeup of the cargo rack setup. ( Still fightin that eel... )

I played hooky from work but I'm the Boss so it's all good.

I need to get my fishing rod back. Here's a picture I found on the internet of the jetty in Brigantine. It used to be a mile long or so but its gotten significantly short and eroded. Shady, you wanna plan a fishing trip for this Sunday in Brig?
