Come to the hills and explore the state parks here in Sussex County! You can go to a wine tasting at one of our many wineries, hike on the Appalachian Trail, or if that's too much of a challenge we have a few flat rail-trails that pass through some very picturesque areas.

I grew up in New Jersey....Not too much other than Pocono mountains, Atlantic City and the beaches. Best part of NJ is that it is close to everywhere else...NYC, Philadelphia, etc......You can visit my parents if youd like...ha.

You'll pay less for gas!!! (But more for most everything else). You can chat with the smiling toll booth workers on the Parkway and Turnpike. They are especially friendly.
If you like to spend a lot of time in your vehicle, it's great here because you will sit in traffic often!
