What to do in/around Atlantic City besides casinos?

My parents have a time share near AC and they invited us for a week this summer. We don't really gamble, or care to spend more than a couple hours at the beach. What are some good day trips around the area? Bonus points if they're also good for a 3 year old, though he wouldn't necessarily come on every trip.

There is several golf courses around Atlantic City. The Links in Brigantine, which is right next to Atlantic City, and the Atlantic City Country Club. There is also the boardwalk in Atlantic City and Ocean City which have amusement piers, games, food, ect. You can go on a charter boat or rent a boat and go fishing. What are your interests?

you can go out to batsto be about 1/2 hour tons of fun trailriding .theres also a little village there. just bring your gps .. very easy to get lost! also for good famly day theres the smithville village my kids love that place and its really close to ac
