Where is south jersey?

As a spin-off on the "seperate state" thread.....

Where do you think is the dividing line between north and south jersey?

I am guessing most would say I-195?

On the western side, it's when you speak in 295 exit numbers and not turnpike exit numbers.

I'd say south jersey is south of ft. dix.

I grew up in Trenton but spent most of my teenage years in the South Jersey Pine lands camping (illegally) in VW buses with my buddies from Tuckerton and Manahawkin.

I say Burlington and south is S Jersey. But I always refer To Trenton as Central and anything north of 195 is north.

My two cents ...

I too am from trenton, exit 7a off the Turnpike. 195 is the exact middle of NJ (by looking at a map). I would say North Jersey is anywhere north of North Brunswick area, and South Jersey is anywhere south of Route 70 area.
