I think Trenton is just a bit north of South Jersey.

I have learned that South Jersey is about 5 miles south from where ever you live.

If you don't allow for a central Jersey, then North Jersey is as far south as a New York accent does not get scowled at.

I'd have to agree with this, I always felt it was when the parkway became two lanes...but that's changing. I'd like to even say the north and south line is a seasonal line, ha in the summer the north invades the south.

I live in between Trenton and Princeton, so according to a map I'm pretty much the geographical center of where the state bends in half.

The funny part about Jersey is if I talk to people from North Jerz, they say I'm from South Jersey and vice versa.

Basically, if your in the South, anything above you is North and Vice versa

Where do you think is the dividing line between north and south jersey?

I am guessing most would say I-195?
It's officially the Driscoll Bridge.

I have to chime in here...

"South Jersey" is south of 1-95. However it is divided further by the Garden State Parkway. East of the GSP is the "Shore" whereas west of the GSP is simply "South Jersey". However, if you really want to get technical, the shore could encompass the entire Cohansey Aquifer.

You really don't want to mix folks from Camden, in with people who live on LBI!
