I've frequent the trop. They used to offer good discounted rooms for players. But over the past year or so most of the comped rooms have disappears (at least for me). But still enjoy going there. different restaurants along with different bars - clubs.

Same here with the Tropicana; they used to always give me a free room and now it is much harder. Oddly enuf; Mt Airy Casino over the line in PA has just allowed table games (poker, roulette, etc). It is an hour less travel time than NYC but the food is not good. I guess I like it as I hit a $100 chip on a single # in roulette.

My wife & I spend our time in Ballys, Wild West, & Ceasar's. We like Ceasar's b/c it was the first casino we won in but our last time there we spent our time bouncing between bally's & wild west. They're nice b/c you don't have to leave the building to go between the two. It's like two casinos in one. They have a good variety of everything and you can feel that you're changing your luck by walking between the two.
