... And the best bagels are in NYC. I'm looking forward a lot to the NM food, but not to missing what I know is great here. My current moving schedule has me a permanent resident of Albuquerque by April 4th.

You sound like my wife, she is from Lynbrook on LI. Bagels are one of her favorite foods. She mentions the pizza from NY too.

Bagels are made in heaven.
Especially with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers and a thin slice of onion

One of my favorite meals is at Wecks it's the original papa's. What it is, is hash brown potato's small bits of ham, bacon & sausage mixed through out along with some green chilli. But not to much. It is then covered with two eggs cooked as you like and smoothered in eighter red or green chilli sause and cheese.
Also there is a pretty good lunch time all you can eat at El Pinto.

I was not impressed with the Owl at all. The place was ok, but the food was not.

So have you settled in and found some nice places to congregate in yet?
