Arthur Avenue

Anyone ever been to the authentic little Italian Avenue? They have the best cannolis I have ever eaten. Go if you're visiting or living in proximity!

Man, does that take me back! I grew up in The Bronx (a long time ago) and one of the shopping areas was Arthur Ave. for Italian stuff. There was also Bathgate Ave, Fordham Rd. (a bit more upscale), Third Ave. (for the dept. stores) and a few other s that I will have to think about.
You are correct, though, that Arthur Ave. rivaled "little Italy" in Manhattan.

Glad to know someone else shares a love for it!
