Hudson Valley

This is how it all started New York! Who is from NY's Hudson Valley? Post some pictures of the scenic Hudson river valley throughout the seasons. Country wide, The area is known for how nice it is during the autumn months so post up and show everyone why.

Alright Kenbo, I have been meaning to ask, what are you calling Hudson Valley? In Albany/Troy we call that Hudson Valley too since well we do have Hudson Valley Community College.

If the Hudson flows nearby, it is in the Hudson Valley haha! I would say within a 15-20 minute drive to water.

Alright, I figured I would ask before I offended anyone since I have witnessed heated debates over the use of that and "upstate" before.

I grew up as a teenager in the Hudson Valley just south of Newburgh. I now work with a number of people that live IN New York City and They consider UPSTATE anything above 125th Street!

I currently reside in Liberty in Sullivan County and we consider ourselves part of the Hudson Valley/Catskills/Borscht Belt. For what ever reason any friends or family that visits me here think it is close to Canada. Pretty much drive till your sick of driving and then go 15 more minutes. By then your close to my house.

I do agree with Kenbo, if your within 20 minutes of the Hudson Valley, then you more than qualify.

Cheers,
Bern
