Hang on to your hats boys and girls, it gonna get ugly tonight!

... Strong storms this evening...

At 145 PM a line of strong storms along a cold front stretched from
Michigan through western Ohio and down towards the southern
Mississippi Valley region. These storms have a history of
producing wind damage... cloud to ground lightning and a burst of
heavy rain showers. Strong storms will advance eastward reaching the
Genesee Valley between 7 PM and 8 PM. These storms will then
quickly pass across the valley and Finger Lakes region.

This line of storms will be accompanied by some potentially
strong winds with gusts between 35 and 45 mph and higher damaging
wind gusts possible. Once the line moves in visibilities will
quickly be reduced by heavy rain showers and an hours Worth of
rain totaling about a half inch will fall in most locations.
Clearing skies will rapidly follow after the line moves eastward.

This line of storms will move very quickly. Be prepared for rapidly
changing weather conditions this evening.

Well, that ended up being a lot of nothing for us,, must have lost all of it's punch.

That same system hit Indy at 9:30 AM. My school teacher wife spent nearly an hour in the school hallway in the "tornado tuck" position, it really kicked the crap out of the midwest.
