Buggs Island
In 1994 I spent some time in NC at a state park on nustbush creek fishing a tournament from the old Red Man trail. The fishing was fantastic! As was the camping at the state park. How is the fishing these days at Buggs Island? I Will be in the area next April/May what should the conditions be like? Hi water? Spawning fish? When I was there last it was in late June and there were many shallow fish that would readily take a topwater.
BTW do the Howells still run the fish camp on Gaston?
