Uwharrie did not impress me. Lots of ups and downs, but no view at all.

South Mountain is nice, and Crowders is good for a day hike.

AT, Linville & Uwharrie.
I now live in Texas and yep it is flat.
I miss the mountains.

For anyone that lives in or near Charlotte, Crowder's Mountain and King's Mountain are nice. Not the greatest, but it has good history and it's close enough to make a day trip out of it.
