High Point/Lexington, NC

Home of the south's best BBQ. Vinegar, tomato and mustard style all have a home somewhere in the triad. Kepley's is amazing and so is Carter Bros. This is the home of "Lexington Style BBQ". Unreal.

Since you're from High Point, I can understand why you want to include your city in the same breath as Lexington -- but we all know it's really Lexington style 'cue.

I miss the barbecue more than anything now that I'm east of '95. The mess they serve out here ain't fitt'n t' eat as my folks would say.

Oh dear.... you don't know do you. Lexington BBQ closed earlier this year (the big white one on 85 business). The best BBQ around here is Kepleys and out in Tyro there are a couple of good places left but Lexington BBQ is on the decline to say the least. Sorry to be the one to tell you.

My dad told me Tar Heel Q had burned down, but I hadn't heard anything about Lexington BBQ.

Don't they always close after Thanksgiving for a week or so?
