Shooting Ranges

You can try Clark Brothers in Warrenton. I havent been there but I have heard its pretty decent; you have to buy their ammo and targets though.

I second this. For Shotgun (done many times) and Archery (which I've never done, personally) it's a great facility.

I don't know of any outdoor pistol/rifle ranges, but I'm sure they exist. If you can stand to shoot targets indoor (pistol) then the Blue Ridge Arsenal in Chantilly isn't bad - they also offer pistol shooting classes to help improve your accuracy and general bad-ass-ness.

Concur, with going to Clarke Brothers. I've used that range extensively. Great facility, can shoot shotgun, rifle, pistol, skeet...

You're supposed to purchase ammo and targets from them, but they're reasonable. I haven't experienced anyone insisting to see my receipts or anything...

Now a days most are prefer like good outdoor ranges to go shooting.............
