Suburban and Exurban Restaurants

Does DC really have all the good restaurants? I know a topic above delved into restaurants, but I'd love to post more ideas here.

If you've had a good meal lately, let me know. We moved out beyond Gainesville nine years ago, and thought we would miss the restaurants closer in at first, but we've discovered enjoyable settings in Warrenton, Culpeper, and even further out in Rappahannock County.

Now that you live further out West, you should check out the Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill. That place is GREAT!

We are in the Bristow area. Our favorites are Nora (Leabonese, Gainseville), El Vaquero West (Mexican - Haymarket), and of course Logans Roadhouse in Manassas.

Have you considered Blue Ridge Seafood? (I think that's what it's called). It's right on 29...looks like a trailer/dive from the outside, but the food is FANTASTIC!

I got some cut of fish stuffed with crabcake! Was amazing!

If you're ever in the Leesburg area, check out the Green Tree ($$) or the Tuscarora Mill ($$$) - they were both excellent last time I visited them.
