I got a new camera last and after a few dozen pics I snagged this one.




These bees are common wood boring pests locally here in Va but I have always loved watching them fight for their turf and they seem to be relatively good natured with people.

This photo was taken 09/21/2010 near Woodinville, WA along the Sammamish River Trail. It was a beautiful day for cycling.

The Fulton County Threshers Convention is held every June. If you have never seen these old giants in person, it is a experience for both young and old.

And it is easy to get to. About a 1000 yards passed that treeline is the Ohio Turnpike (Hwy 80/90).
