This carrier, the USS Midway CV 41 is a museum in San Diego, CA. Awesome. I know someone who went to Vietnam on it

Nice that we got some use out of a few battleships. I think in the end the B52's proved more cost efficient.

I got some pics in a box somewhere of the BB New Jersey's recommissioning and President Reagan giving a speech. Also some pics of on-board on the back side of Santa Catalina Island. (i can't find em though, when and if I do, I'll scan & post)
