Ghost Stories

Let's hear them.

I have nothing and can't say I believe in ghosts in any conscience sense. Maybe some type of etched time thing but nothing you can speak with. I do enjoy the stories though!

I've lived in houses that should be haunted, my current home borders the town Cemetery and the builder killed himself in it by cutting this throat a couple years after construction. Nada.

Forgive my poor English Guys …. But … I can not forget the following:

It was October 1973 I and my classmates had an excursion. We were in a hotel at the seaside for 3-4 nights, I and 2 my friends shared a room.

In the first evening we decided to invite 3 girls to visit together a restaurant. So, knocking the door of one of them, we were invited in and saw that 3-4 girls are sitting around the table dealing with calling some Ghost. There were magic subjects on the table – book, key, candle … there was not a light but the candle. So, both of us sat around the table, our third friend disappeared somewhere telling us he will come soon. I was sitting on a small stool just against the window curtain.

After 20 minutes whispering of magic words and following a special procedure (which in fact was very tedious for me), in the end the calling girl said:

“… and let the Ghost of (I do not remember who exactly) appear here !!!!!!!!! “ ….

In the same moment the curtain shook and a human silhouette entered into the room …..

After, as if something caught my throat, my legs convulsed and I flung on my back on the floor and forgot to breath …. I heard of first very loud laughter, after terrible scramming … after somebody on the lamp and we saw our third friend enjoying of the all that scene ….

He was entered in the next room to look for somebody, after decided to enter in our room through the balcony, jump over the balcony and seeing what we are doing decided to play us this game …

Several days after I was an object of jokes ….

It was the first time I was so terrified … next time was a week ago …

So did you wet your pants?

I never want to be on the ninth floor when the ghost of mother nature decides to make herself felt.

Time for a little trip with a tent my friend. I could not think of a better place to be during an earthquake.

Your bike tour sounds great, but if you have to "camp-out", and alone,
you're still going to be terrified.....my mother, frequently told us about
various apparitions appearing for her during the night......specifically,
my deceased father and sister.......she accepted this and never appeared
frightened.....said they would come and stand at the foot of her bed...

Did you folks preview the links I submitted??.....
here's an example of one of them.......

Interesting .... I will share if something happens ?. But ? I tour and camp in the wilderness more than 30 years ? some summers I have more than 50 ? 60 nights in my tent ? and so far I have not any interesting story connected with this my experience ?
Long ago I had a primitive tent (and equipment) ? no bottom, no side curtains ? only a tarpaulin folded in two ? one morning I woke up near a river, my white t-shirt was covered with many bloody spots because of too much mosquitoes bites ? it is my worst story ?

Sounds like you've had great fun over the years....I know "camping"....
we used to do it frequently, but definitely not as much as you, while
we were in the "Boy Scouts of America" and other times while fishing
our local river (The Greenbrier River)......used to do all the Boy Scout
"stuff"......making fires with flint and steel, tying various knots with rope,
and did have a "tent" we slept in......always thought those were great
times....but, after HS graduation, joined the USAF and then college...
kinda' got away from that kind of camping......after retirement, we
camped in a "pop-up" camper, then a travel trailer and later a
motorhome, which we traveled around the US for 5 or 6 years before
purchasing a permanent home and stopped the "camping type" travel...
hope you have a great time during your next trip......be sure to take a
camera and share some of your country with us....we'll be glad to do
the same for you.......
