holiday apostrophe s

In the United States, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Nurse's Day and Doctor's Day are all singular with an apostrophe s.
Veterans Day has no apostrophe.

I didn't realize this and was going to try to disprove it. I typed in Veteran's Day while in Google Search, and my spell check underlined it to let me know it was spelled incorrectly. Kudos to you!

Someone wrote it wrong originally and it is now accepted. Using grammar rules, it should be Veterans' Day, since veterans is a plural word ending in "s", it needs the apostrophe to show ownership of the day.
