Has anyone used Home Away before?

We were looking at using it to find a rental for a couple of weeks while we visit family back East. A bit nervous though about the security of it.

My granddad puts a light on a timer when he's away. And had my dad go out on weekends to get the mail.

I used it once when my wife had a family reunion. We rented a house for a whole week on the Frio river outside San Antonio.
