so yesterday the guy was to come and give me a quote on fencing the new place.
He never showed up, and i could not reach him.
So after many hours I called another business, he said he would come ASAP.
He was there within the hour, and we walked the property, talked about what I wanted for a fence and gates.
He is going to drop off a written quote tuesday already.
Now that is being professional.
Not like the guy that was booked 2 weeks ago to come, and cannot even call to say he is going to no show.

Everybody was running around half naked complaining about the heat and I was still in thermos and coat, shivering away. Couldn't wait to get out of there because of it. 70 is TOO DANG COLD!!!! That's WINTER temps!

Nah, that's comfy. I was 50 when I gave up shorts in winter. My blood doesn't seem as thick in my dotage.

We have woolen mills and you have derricks. Someday Texas may fall into a sinkhole of it's own making.

Pretty interesting, I used to think of anything north of NV and east of AZ or south of AZ as a "Foreign country" til I went there. I am hoping to make a trip east to visit Civil War sites during the 150 yr anniversery. I stopped being that closed minded anyways but I will say that what you can't comprehend isn't necessarily dead, it's just something you don't understand.

I had a nice day, got to fly out to a remote fishing hole I like, and catch a few.
So peaceful, just me, and lots of bears, eagles and hawks.

I've never dove in an ocean, visited Antarctica, Africa or Australia and I'd love to see all of them but at this point I don't have that experience so I lack an understanding of that experience.

On the other hand I've seen high desert, watched endless footage of scorpions, armadillos and lizards, none of which prompted further interest. So far the only desert life form I find interesting is the cacti.

I never seen an eagle wild, only in captivity.

Yellowstone has all you might want. Best place is off Alaska's coast.
