I work at the airport and the way I see some people dress makes me think that people think airplanes are indestructible. My boss was a KC-135 pilot in Vietnam and he told me that on one training flight in Del Rio his instructor pilot asked if he was going to bring his jacket. My boss said "no, we'll be back by this afternoon" and the instructor pilot just look at him and asked "will we?". He went back and grabbed his jacket.

I think a sense of formality is important in most situations, but fashion progresses, what was once acceptable no longer is and vice verse, I'm just looking forward to the day I no longer have to wear pants in public. I live in Texas, it's hot.

hahaha I'll bet they think the same about what other people wear in public. Suits, penny loafers, jewelry, etc. and think that those people are just pretentious...ghetto fabulous
